Choosing a role allows you to see personalized content according to your subscription. If you select the General Member, this signifies you are interested in AO Scan but have not purchased any of our products. Otherwise, if you select the Purchase Member, this means you are still interested in AO Scan and have purchased at least one of our products (as seen under our products menu).

You have the option to opt out of having your information available to others by going to your profile page, clicking on your profile (located on the right side of the screen), clicking privacy under your profile (located on the left of the screen, in the shape of a lock), and then choosing what makes you comfortable.
